How Ancient Cultures Parent Better, with Michaeleen Doucleff

This one is soooooo good
14

Hello everyone,

I am so excited for you to listen to this episode, an interview with Michaeleen Doucleff, author of the New York Times bestseller Hunt, Gather, Parent. Hunt, Gather, Parent is hands-down my favorite parenting book of all time and, believe it or not, Michaeleen is even more interesting in live conversation. It was fascinating to hear how she is implementing what she discovered in her research (and wrote about in her book) in her every day life. In this episode we discuss why the “research” on parenting can’t always be trusted, what ancient cultures are doing right when it comes to raising children, why we’ve made things so unnecessarily hard in the West, what we can do to make it better (without waiting around for policy).

I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did!

Best,

Elena
